It is the right length and level for reading to younger children and would make a good lesson for children learning to read. Young children could be asked to point out who each character is or other questions about the settings that are artfully illustrated and about the moral of the story, which is clear and motivational.I look forward to seeing the next volume!

The story is great and entirely relative to this day and age. The illustrations are fantastic and really capture the story! We will be reading This to our son for years to come!
This book is the perfect tool for teaching kids how to do the right thing in a tough situation. I have read it to my children and my class in the school where I teach! I also gave a copy to our school counselor!
It is a sweet story to help teach young children an important life lesson about getting along with others and being kind to others. The story rhymes which children really like and listen to and the illustrations are just adorable!

What a wonderful book!! It addresses a subject that is so important in today's world bullying. But it does it in a way that is fun for kids. Kids get a little life lesson without even knowing it. I can't wait for the future adventures of the Do-Righteers!!
The perfect story of a life lesson that we all can learn from. Another example of how children continue to amaze us with their insight. Beautiful illustrations that make this sweet story perfection! I bought 2 books because I thought the story line was easy for children to relate to. One book for my dental office waiting room and another for my home for my children to enjoy! Can't wait for the next book!
We love this book! I have 2 kids, 2 and 4, and they both enjoy reading about Max. The best part about the book is the lessons of being kind to others that it teaches. It is a great book for any child, but especially the 3-5years old that are learning about being nice to others!
